Personally I can’t stand the Regular Show and don’t much care for Brave and the Bold or Avengers, but overall I agree. I’d also add both Avatar series, Invader Zim, Young Justice, that Thundercats reboot, and MLP (despite fans have going waaaay over board, I do think it’s just an objectively good kids show).

No you seem to be missing the point. John DiMaggio (the voice actor for Bender Bending Rodríguez ) actually likes the show to an extent (the clip has him doing a voice over for a different character at an event). Having a GIF of him laughing about the show being good is ironic because he does think the show is good.

I made the point. I’m not missing my own point. My point is that MLP isn’t THAT great. The massive disgusting following creates an illusion that it’s good. This has nothing to do with bender at all. I just used a picture of someone laughing at someone else. You just came in with your ugly “horses” and tried to change the conversation.

All I did was point out that your reaction was rather Ironic. The massive following isn’t what makes people think its good, more of the other way around (how did you think the first fans got started and were able to convince some skeptics) I’m not going to say that MLP is the greatest thing ever, but jeez, you don’t have to go out of you way to laugh at people who think it’s good.

SOME OF US are a bit pissed about half-assed idiots going around throwing their ponies all over the place and trying to convert people to fuel their fandom. I can’t go anywhere without seeing ponies. I damn well have a need to be upset.

If you really get that upset about people posting certain things on the internet maybe you shouldn’t be on a site dedicated to documenting internet culture.
If people legitimately uploading things to the wrong gallery (which does happen) tell the mods about it, and they can likely fix it. Otherwise, you are really just gonna have to suck it up or leave.

A site dedicated to citing internet culture. This is a site where we can find out about and post memes and other internet culture. I came here for memes. Not ponies. Why don’t they make their own website instead of crapping on the ones that already exists? Did they ever think about that? This is know your meme. Not know your pony.

>Implying MLP hasn’t become part of Internet culture
>Implying MLP hasn’t spawn its own memes that have been confirmed
>Implying some of those memes aren’t used by other fandoms
>Implying there aren’t already several sites dedicated to covering just ponies
>Implying that other fandoms don’t do the same thing
>Implying this isn’t Know Your Pony

(That last one was a joke BTW)

What is it with you bronies acting like you have a birthright to the internet? And why would another fandom use brony memes? They don’t make any sense if they’re used in another fandom. And if they already have an image website, they should use it. Other fandoms do the same thing, but nowhere near to the extent bronies do. All the memes that they HAVE had confirmed are just bad inside jokes and background characters. I never said it wasn’t a part of internet culture, but it’s a bad part of internet culture. We can keep going if you want. It won’t change a thing.

I don’t know why there are so many variants of I’m so alone that are not pony related but that’s just what happens sometimes. Fandoms use memes from other fandoms all the time.
Also
>Implying Bronies don’t already use those other websites
>Implying that bad inside jokes are unnotable because they are bad
>Implying KYM doesn’t document bad parts of internet culture
Very few bronies think like they have a “Birthright to the Internet”. They do what most fandoms do, make fan content, enjoy what they like with other people, and recommend it to people. I’m pretty sure people do the same with whatever you like as well. (And if your avatar and name is any indication, I know that the have crossed the two.)

Very few bronies? Are you going to try bringing up the silent majority thing? You don’t have any proof of it and I have quarrel with them. But there HAS to be a problem when a fandom can be THIS bad. I’ve even seen loads of bronies admitting to the fact that the fandom is horrible. It has clearly surpassed the infamous sonic fandom by a landslide. I just hope it doesn’t get any worse than it already is. Don’t just tell me to ignore. I can;t ignore it if it’s everywhere. I can’t find any sites that are safe from these people. Sure it’s easy for you because you like ponies, but bronies never “love” anyone. The fandom is self centered and that ticks me off.

I’ll give you credit on the whole being impossible to prove the silent majority thing, after all, if they were really silent, you wouldn’t even know they were a fan unless you asked and I don’t personally know every open brony anyways. I suppose, most of my experience with bronies over the last two years has been either IRL, on this site, or with users who happen to have a MLP avatar with completely unrelated stuff. However, while I don’t really know how bad it is elsewhere, on this site most people are pretty tame (with the exception of the occasional troll). Complaining here will not do anything if your problem is users from other sites.

Most of the rest of you comment I really can’t quantify. I like MLP, but most of my recent uploads have nothing to do with it, helping to document other, unrelated memes and subcultures. I know there are plenty of other users on this site that are the same way. Maybe if you talk to some people who happen to be bronies about something that isn’t MLP, you might get that we don’t just care about ponies and nothing else. We can start a Homestar Runner conversation on your wall if you like. Hadn’t had one of those in a long while.

My comments can seem a bit too aggressive at times. I just think that some take this fad too seriously. It’s nice to be part of a fandom, I guess, but I don’t think everyone else wants to know about. That’s all I want to say. I’m sure no one will listen, but I just want to put that out there.

I don’t like the Regular Show because I think it’s obnoxious. I don’t like bro humor and I hate pandering, and the Regular Show seemed to have both qualities the two times I’ve tried to watch it. then again, I had a similar issue with Adventure Time at first, and now it’s one of my favorite shows.
