Yeah true, but at least video game consoles parents still have to actively go out and purchase a title. I see kids on ipads/mobile devices just kinda doing their own thing all too frequently (I work in a hotel with vacationers) and the kids just kinda find their own games to mess with.

Though seeing how I also go to Gamestops and see parents buying CoD for their 8 year olds, maybe electronics have gone to far.

Its not technology’s fault, technology is in essence the very staple of human foundation and the product of inevitable scientific findings. It is how the people treat the technology and utilize it that can often go too far, but isn’t that how it has always been. We are progressive and generally better than we were in years before, but we are still monkies, but now we are monkies with shinier rocks.
