What’s up? Just got back from work, and I’m not sure if I’ll have enough to to type everything up before I have to bolt again, but we’ll see. My education was in Psychology and Sociology, so I usually understand interactions of any sort through the training I got while being a research assistant under some professors. The school of thought that I use to explain the hardcore hatred is something called Symbolic Interactionism. Symbolic Interactionism claims that people have shared understandings of symbols in the world. It is by those symbols that we have the basis of any interaction. For example, given that we both speak English, there is a fair assumption that we have very similar ideas of what the symbol “Mother” generally means. Most people within a culture share those similar understandings, and we use those shared understandings to interact with each other and to make sense of the world.
