Oh, there’s an element of “seriousness” to it. For most people, unless you’re asexual by urge and not by choice (a massive majority of people,) you become romantically attracted to people and sexual activity follows. I don’t think that there are many marriages at all where the couple didn’t at one point have sexual attraction for each other at some point. You and others said it as well.
