So I heard you wanted to write a story…
Even just the basic premise of Screwball’s origins is intriguing.
You’ve probably done some research yourself, but I went ahead and looked up some Screwball fics. Four on Equestria Daily and several on FiMFic. None of them looked like they dealt with origins or backstory.

One thing I’m wondering is what genre the story will be. A happy comedy, or a sad tale fraught with misfortune?

I don’t have any specific suggestions or ideas at the moment, but if you’d like some help once you have an outline or a rough idea I’d be happy to try to help.
