French vowels aren’t too hard pronunciation wise. Beginners make mistakes fairly often, but that’s only because they’re ignorant of the fact that French vowels are pronounced differently than English ones, especially since French has similar vocabulary to English, and it’s really tempting to pronounce words incorrectly. It has a decently sized vowel inventory, averaging at 17 distinct sounds, including 4 nasal vowels (which have always come naturally to me), but it’s nothing impossible. But yes, compared to languages like Japanese and Hebrew, it will be a lot harder.
