Actually, no, I didn’t catch your religious affiliation, although I’m sure I should have. At various times and in various situations I call myself: simply a “Christian”, a “Baptist”, a “converted half-Jew”, or even a “Bible-thumping fundamentalist”. While my religious views are pretty well in line with conservative evangelical Baptist types, I try to be open-minded about hearing and understanding other people’s beliefs, and I’m very politically liberal.

I tend to tell people that if they want to know the quirkier aspects of my theological beliefs, they ought to check out my blogs. Here’s an odd one from 2008. If you feel a need to know more and either find the blog tl;dr or confusing, go ahead and ask me another question.
