Oh, wow! You’re using it as your avatar! Glad you liked it so much. Maybe I will throw it up on DeviantArt. I’ve never really had anything to put there before… Is the original sketch on your page? I’d prefer to link back to it if possible.
As for GIMP, I’m pretty similar. I downloaded it months ago but never used it until now. My complete lack of physical drawing skill made me want to take a look at vectoring, but I’m far too lazy to read through GIMP’s documentation so I just dove in and figured stuff out as I went. Not the most efficient method, but it think I figured it out well enough. I’m working on a big ol’ Scootaloo now! =)
