Poking my head in to say “Hi!” for a bit. Glad you and I are of the same mind about that there hypothesis. As for asperger’s, I have a very close friend IRL who I’ve known forever who has Asperger’s. I think to diagnose a cartoon character with a mental disease might not be…well, bluntly, I’m not so sure about that. Unless I heard it from the creators I’d have my doubts. Even if she shares some traits (I say “if” because I don’t watch MLP, which I know doesn’t help my case at all) with people who have it and even if it would make sense, I’m just not sure the creators would intentionally put that into a character.
