Let me share my own then:
When I was a bit younger, I reacted very badly to some (properly prescribed) medication and had a rather nasty response to it. A somewhat bad hallucination involved me sitting, staring at a wall, while a doctor poked around my brains. I slowly began to forget everything about my life as he fiddled around and burnt out the neurons. It wasn’t like a nightmare where you wake up at the scariest part – it just kept going on and on and on. When it faded, I had that foggy head feeling – which made the memory of it worse.
To this day, I’m fucking terrified of walking into a doctor’s office, much less a surgeon’s. It’s gotten better over time, but damn.
