I’m sure there are quite a few people out there who are much like yourself, but less noticed (because they avoid the places where bronies tend to congregate). No one is required to like the fandom surrounding something they enjoy, and anyone who thinks they are… has serious problems. I love Doctor Who, and watch it when I can. I eagerly await new episodes, and occasionally buy merchandise. I don’t call myself a Whovian, though.
As far as your reasons for why you don’t like parts of the fandom, I share most of them. There are REALLY bad entitlement issues in the brony community – just looking at any Alicorn Twilight image over on Derpibooru will give credence to that. I’m not sure where people get the idea that it’s okay to foam at the mouth like that, but it’s annoying to say the least.
With the r34, I’ll go ahead and paraphrase what I said to Verbose when he asked about it: It’s hard to rustle my jimmies. The line of appropriate and inappropriate is blurred for me, and I look more at intent of something than material itself when I post. If I find that something is upsetting people in a bad way later on, I’ll remove it. Explicit stuff is an automatic no-no, as is foalcon.
Brony art can be REALLY bad, just look at Fluffybooru. I’ll leave it at that.
The merchandise the fandom produces can be pretty awful as well. I really don’t understand why people make/buy perler art, and not every Derpy plushie is adorable.
