Comedy is not your strong point. Don’t quit your day job. Although I know you’ll probably respond with “Memes are not your strong point. Don’t quit your day job”. Or now that I said it for you, you’ll say something different just to prove me wrong. :P

Seriously, though. I don’t get how this isn’t a meme. It’s EVERYWHERE. It’s ALL OVER reddit, tumblr, Facebook, 4chan, it’s even spread to OkCupid, Yahoo! Answers, sodahead, girlsaskguys, etc. It’s just a very new meme. My guess is someone will revive this once it appears on Family Guy.

Actually, you know what? Nevermind. Consider the entire second paragraph a moot point. Most people here apparently haven’t seen or heard of the highlighter pic, which surprised me since there’s literally thousands of memes here I’ve never heard of, but it is what it is. I was under the impression that a lot of people here used Tumblr and Reddit, but I guess I was wrong.

LOL, ironic considering I’m probably about as old as your parents. Don’t forget, people born before 1990 use the internet, too. You might find us embarrassing when we try to be “cool”, but we’re also the reason a lot of social changes your generation is pushing for are happening.

LOL, why would I brag about being old? I’d love to be 12 again, no bills to worry about, no back pain, and I actually got enough sleep at night. I don’t play CoD or know much about it except that a lot of people hate it yet it’s oddly popular. Actually, I still consider the Nintendo 64 to be a new-generation system and refuse to accept that 90s music is “oldies” now.

I’ll admit I just threw this together in 5 minutes (when I should have been working, bad me, I know, LOL), assuming that others would jump in and grow the article. I thought this was like Wikipedia for internet fads and trends. Now I know it’s not. Live and learn.

in reply to No, This is PATRICK

It spread pretty quickly the places I was frequenting, but maybe it’s stayed confined to the kinds of places I most frequent. I just know I’ve seen it so many times I lost count, so I figured it was like that everywhere. But then again, most of the subreddits I use are kinda obscure and I have a LOT of weird friends om Tumblr and FB, LOL. I made the mistake of grossly overestimating how popular it was and misunderstanding how this wiki works (assuming it to be like Wikipedia where you can make a start-class article and people improve upon it, my fault for just quickly glancing over the submission rules).

And yeah, in retrospect, my entry really wasn’t that great and it probably is obvious I only spent a couple minutes on it, I probably should have waited a few months to see if this would keep spreading and/or let this be written by someone who had more free time to write a nicer-looking entry.
