Here I am shaking my head that this guy decided to put his suicide note publicly online. What woes went on in his life isn’t really of any concern to everyone else, and while I can’t deny that his life had significance to many people, this should have only been kept between him and his loved ones.
Yes, he is a master troll for making tons of Redditors near Kansas City go bonkers over his supposed hidden fortune, but I don’t think the idea of launching a website was smart.

He probably wanted to be remenbered somehow, and by making this apprently hidden treasure hunt i’m thinking he’s trying to leave something to be remenbered by.

Well… yeah. If you read it, he says he’s got little to no loved ones. and that it’s public for the general population to read or ignore. The treasure hunt wasn’t for treasure but rather to guide traffic to the website. It was mischievous and very irresponsible to mislead people but for the purposes of guiding traffic to that website, it was well thought out. Clever fellow.

It was his decision to make. If he wants the information put up publicly about his own life, he should be allowed to and it’s his call, not the call of his family. If it has no significance to you, then just don’t read it.
