Gary Busey’s reputation has preceded him well before the Internet. Too much of a tabloid celeb to be considered a meme. I mean the guy has been on that celebrity rehab “reality” tv show on VH1, on top of having a decades-long career as a well-known film actor. That would seem like calling Larry King a meme. Or Seth Green. Or Seth Rogan. Or Stephen Colbert. Or Sting. Or Madonna. Or LL Cool J. Or Prince. I don’t know where the list would end.
But I think Gary Busey might be one of my favorite memes that’s not a meme. Or Garfield Minus Garfield.
