It's not spam. I think he tried to embed the Nico video for us to see without having to make an account there.
With my Nico Nico Douga account, I can watch it.
For the first part, he presented Can.vas to the Japanese public, sort of.
I don't think I understand it all anyway, the Japanese guy tried to speak English as fluently as he could and there is a translator for Poole I believe.
