Okay, apparently it's just me, then? Why do people "see Jesus" in everything? That doesn't look like "Jesus Christ and a girl" to me, it looks like a soy sauce bottle and a severed fish head. (Of course, I did just have sushi yesterday…)

Hmm, interesting; whatever it is, it's still visible if you move from that spot.

Okay, I figured it out. It's something like a dead bug on the camera. Try this: Go to the same location. Look left and up: yep, there it is. Note that the current view's picture is taken from a divided highway. Pick up the street view guy and drag him just a tad to the north, until you manage to drop him on the westbound side of the highway. Look to the left and up: it's gone! spin around 180 degrees and note that it is now to your right. Go anywhere on that stretch of road, and you will see the "thing" in the upper-left of what would be the driver's side of the Google maps camera car.

To me it looks like slender man and a southern belle standing on a cloud. There is no hint that it is Jesus Christ (He would have to have a halo or something) and in fact that looks pretty sinister.

And yeah, its probably just something stuck on the camera lens. Although I cannot imagine for the life of me what kind of exotic Swiss bug makes that kind of an imprint when crushed.

Some of the distortion / blurriness looks like the same kind of distortion that happens when google tries to stitch two images together. I wonder if it's just some weird residual data from, say, the driver looking at one of the cameras. The pink sortof looks like a blurry face seem from below, and the black could be anything-- a lamppost?

Well, if you can find Jesus in a dog's butt, you can find Jesus in anything.
It's a phenomenon called Pareidolia, us perceiving things that aren't actually there. You know how you see things in those ink-blot tests? Pareidolia.
