Steve Jobs Resigns as CEO

Maybe now we'll get some quality Apple products now rather than a new one being shit out every 6 months when it's the same exact product. (If he's dying, that's terrible. If not, oh well.)

This is just a rumor of course.

I doubt he'll be dying anytime soon, he requested to stay on as Chairman of the Board.

I'm sorry for Steve Jobs and his pancreas, but mostly I'm worried about Apple. Many economists pointed out that Apple will still be a great big company, but its creativity edge will be loss without Steve Jobs.
Also the news sites and blogs all have different opinions on what Apple will become without Steve Jobs. Take a look.

That last google result is quite funny, but very true. I think Apple is one of America's most important companies and if it goes down America will go deeper into the hole of us 'not making/exporting anything'. My friend told me that he had resigned from apple a few months ago, I guess this shows how wrong he was.

I'm confident that Apple will still be as thriving as ever, even without Jobs as CEO. I read up on Tim Cook, who's the new heir to the Apple throne. This will apparently make Cook the most powerful gay man in America.

In a tragic moment for Steve Jobs, there is a bright spot: Tim Cook, who will succeed Jobs as Apple's CEO, is an incredibly thorough and detail oriented boss who has revolutionized the way computers are assembled and steadily held the confidence of Apple's employees and partners. He is also, as we reported in January, destined to become an icon for gay advancement.

Nothing wrong with that in my opinion (no need for a flame war).

Really, that is awful. I am pretty sad! ;( I am all into Apple products, and now… :(. Well… i hope Tim Cook will not add and not allow Gay Porn on apple tv or any products. I really want Jobs to come back. But oh well, we will see how it will unfold, on a good side i hope. :)

I feel sorry for the guy, but also I don't care about the fate of Apple. I just got a 640 GB external hard drive for £50, but if Apple made one it would probably cost £500, and that is true. Whether this has anything to do with Mr Jobs is unclear to me. The only time I bought an Apple product it broke within 2 weeks, compared to a Samsung MP3 player which I got for £40 and is still working just as well as on the first day.
I genuinely don't have anything against him, but you wouldn't walk into a house on an estate in a run down area of town, and find a kid playing on his Apple Mac. I don't have a Mac. I like the things Macs do, but, it's completely of the table for me. When I get a new computer, I get one every 5 years, and never have I considered buying a Mac. I could get more from a £400 laptop than a £1500 Desktop Mac. The fact is, no matter how great an inspiring Steve Jobs is, his computers are for the rich few, and unobtainable and the only place I've ever used a Mac is in PC World and hotel lobbies.

For one part it is bad, to be sick of Cancer is not a joke.
But for other part, Jobs always acted as a dick, ruining thousand of families..

You think that just because he's gay he'll want to add gay porn to stuff?

Well, of course! Don't straight guys add straight porn to everything?

Oh, I forgot to add something for my fellow robots!

Oh, momma, that's hot…

Oooo, kinky!

Heh, heh, group action; so awesome.

I hope the best for his health and everything, but for the company, nothing of value was lost. I just hope the new guy doesn't start "innovating" the new iPad along with the rest of the market even quicker than Apple did before.
