Also, aside from Abra, what's your favorite Pokemon?

Also, aside from Abra, what’s your favorite Pokemon?

Aside from Abra, my favorite Pokemon would have to be Machop. I like the way it is designed and it was the first evolution of my best pokemon card, Machamp. In fact, aside from Abra to Alakazam, I'd say Machop to Machamp is my favorite pokemon evolution. Each stage made sense and added to the next one.

why DO you hate Karma threads?

I dislike them because they for the most part are very unfunny. I mean, if it was a joke thread and it was producing or at least posting content, it would be fine by me. It crosses the line when you get about 50 people in a row going 'hurr give me karma.' So yeah, I'm just like, fuck your internet points.

What is your favorite web site?

My favorite website would have to be 4chan, specifically the /v/, /mu/, and /tg/ boards (Vidya, Music, Traditional Gaming). I don't go on /b/, it's too large of a shitpile.

The sarcasm latent in the first two communities speaks to my very soul and /tg/ is pretty sweet if you're into board gaming, magic: the gathering, or warhammer.

How does your gynecologist feel about how you always having your panties in a bunch?

Horny.

On that note, tell your mother I said 'Hi' and that I'll be coming in for my usual appointment next Wednesday.

How many bitches do you have, Pimp?

Also, if you couled have one Superpower, what wouled it be and why?

I'm from rags to riches, nigga, I ain't dumb.

I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one.

If I could have any superpower and I want to be cheap about it, I would say that my superpower is the ability to have any power that I imagine and desire as well as my original superpower.

But, if we're talking about classic comic book superpowers, I would say that I would adore the ability to flawlessly teleport, which means no accidentally teleporting into rocks or other people (because that shit would hurt) and no retention of momentum.

I mean, think about it, even if I didn't use it for fighting crime or something, as long as it has no real expense on me, I would be able to do basically anything. I could even theoretically create infinite energy by repeatedly teleporting high into the air and dropping, allowing a turbine or something that is connected to me to generate energy.

It would be pretty damn sweet.

Care to give a brief history of your rise to power?

Let's see…

I joined this website in April 2010, after lurking for a couple months, reading entries. (The first one I read was on Weegee)

After joining the website for a couple days under the name 'Christopher_B' (boring as fuck), I decided I needed a handle that had character and hadn't been chosen before. Obviously, my mind latched onto Abras and Pimps, because why the fuck not?

I decided when I joined that I would try to help out, since I liked the idea that this website documented things that I found funny and that I would be able to make a noticeable impact on a website.

So began a bunch of posting in the forums and hanging out in the IRC, with editing first starting about 2 months after I joined, with my first three entries I really worked on were a small youtube fad, an entry on an old viral video called Gonads and Strife , and an entry for the United States of Whatever (the first entry I put a ton of time into and the first entry I was really proud of working on).

After hanging around in the IRC, posting in the forums, and editing entries for about 6-7 months, I was asked if I would like to become an entry moderator for KnowYourMeme. (to tell the truth, I was actually shooting for becoming a Forum Moderator for about a month before I was asked to be an entry moderator).

I continued to work with the older moderators and the newer moderators (most often talking with Ogreenworld about memetics and our place in documenting them) on entries for about 5 months after that, until I took a break this last summer, editing and posting rarely.

When the third wave of moderators came, I was given forum moderator powers as well as entry moderator powers and I began to do more with the forums (locking stupid (to me) threads, sorting out bitches, the like).

And that's pretty much my entire history on this website.

tl;dr fucked some bitches, made some dosh

On a scale of 1 to Pimp, what is your regular level of swag? Is it less than or equal to that of 60s Spiderman?

I'm feelin' like a pimp, baby, I go and brush my shoulders off.

Spidey's a pimp too, we go and brush our shoulders off.

Why is it taking so long for you to answer?

I was at a choir rehearsal for a concert I'm going to be having this weekend.

I also love suspense. What fun is it if I answer right away?

burning_phoneix wrote:

Is the Abra in your avatar giving a thumbs up or is he wagging his finger in disapproval?

It is either giving a thumbs up, to show that it enjoys child pornography.

Or it is giving you a middle finger, because that Abra guy is a dick. (who even made him a moderator, seriously?)

What other interests do you have besides Internet culture? If you could have any career, what would it be?

Besides internet culture, I enjoy reading science fiction and learning about new inventions, I love biking and looking for new restaurants to eat at, and I love the vidya, but my greatest love is music.

If I could have any career, it would definitely be singing in a professional choir. It would be heaven for me to be able to get up every day and look forward to singing. I love being in a choir, the community you can form with a group of musicians who are all striving to create something beautiful is amazing. I would not mind spending the rest of my life singing and creating music.

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if he were a pimp abra?

A PimpAbra could chuck no amount of wood since a PimpAbra couldn't chuck wood.

(vidya reference, bonus points if you know what game this is from)

Sweatie Killer wrote:

Did you ever catch an Abra?

I pretty much catch an Abra every single game I play.

Although it's stats when it is evolved to an Alakazam are outclassed by Gengar, it is still quite a good sweeper in the first couple Pokemon games, as it had great special attack and special defense, as well as speed, before spec. atk and spec. def got split.

I generally play the first two Pokemon games, though, as I don't like the later games in the series as much. I'm fairly sure the split didn't come until the third game, but I may be incorrect.

I wish I would catch a shiny Abra. Oh lord that would be delicious.

Sweatie Killer wrote:

How many Cats Do you have? You're cat level must be extremely high to be a mod.

Throughout my life, I've had a total of 6 cats in my family, although my mom has gotten another cat since I left for college which I do not know.

And no, we didn't have all 6 cats at once. At most we have had 3 cats at once, at least until I left for college.

Who's your favorite stand-up comedian? Which joke never fails to make you laugh?

What's your thought on R. Kelly?

My favorite comedian would have to be Louis C.K., although I am also a Carlin fan and a fan of the stuff I've seen Eddie Izzard do. I can't say I've watched enough of any to have a favorite joke, although I do like pretty much all of Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill.

Bill Cosby

,

I really don't know much about R. Kelly, but I did manage to watch through most of Trapped In The Closet.

My life has never been the same.

What is your favorite movie?

What is your favorite Christmas memory?

My favorite movie would have to be the Silence of the Lambs, which has to be one of the best made movies I have ever seen. If you haven't seen it, you owe it to yourself to watch it, and don't worry, it isn't gory, no matter what you've heard about it.

My favorite Christmas memory would be memories that happened over the course of my childhood. During most of my Christmases, my family and I spent the holiday at my Grandpa's house, which was so happy. Between presents, swimming in his indoor pool (you all jelly) and spending time with my family, it really was one of the best times of the year.

What's your favorite flavor of ramen noodles?

I tend to enjoy the roast chicken the most of all the types of cup-ramen noodles, that is if I take out that disgusting freeze-dried meat in it.

(Do not for the love of god eat the Shrimp flavor, it is disgusting.)

Can you invent a hot tub so big, not even you can fill it with bitches?

The probability of that happening is so infinitesimal, that scientists aren't even working on the tub yet and are just calculating the chance that I am unable to fill it with bitches.

What kind of sandwich should I make you if the opportunity ever arises?

Although I don't often eat sandwiches as my day is usually full of pimpin' my hoes, I do enjoy myself a good philly cheese steak or a simple toasted pepperjack, pepperoni, lettuce sandwich.

Mon mot favori en Français est parapluie. C'est très different que le mot en Anglais et c'est un mot que je croire de mon prémier année de Français dans ma école.

I probably butchered that.

That aside, what is your favorite meme among the ones you have edited? And, if it's not the same one, which entry are you most proud of?

My favorite meme among the ones I've written entries for would have to be the entry for the Dew Army fad on YTMND. It's a very funny meme that is a bit difficult to easily express through an entry, but you should really check out some of the websites.

They are hilarious.

The entry I am the most proud of would be the United States of Whatever entry. It was the first entry I really worked hard on as far as researching and editing went, in the process finding not one but two waves of the fad that happened before the 'origin' that the original editor had written about.

It was when I really started working on the formatting of the entries I worked on and it was about the time when I really started participating in this community.
