Before reading this post, if you haven’t, you may want to skim through this.
For an extended amount of time after the article was made, I saw several requests for an anime to be made. They were mostly in jest, but I think it’s a great idea, so Red Eye Comics (I.E. me), would like to produce and publish an online series called “Bandwidth Crash”. It would feature many of the websites mentioned in the article all in a Hetalia-style setup. Of course, this is going to take some work, so I haven’t set up the site in preparation yet. I’m posting this here first because I figure the arms of KYM members are long enough that word will spread if they’re interested (and hopefully they are). Here are the necessary jobs to be filled for this to work:
-Writers. Obviously, for episode plotlines and the like.
-Animators. To animate
-Artists. To design characters and backgrounds.
-Voice actors. To voice characters.
-Musicians and sound effects specialists. For the rest of the sounds.
-Editors. For putting all the fancy parts together.
-Story-boarders. For translating the script into a coherent visual train of thought.
-Advertisers. People who recruit more staff members and advertise to the general internet community.
Positions will become more specific as the project goes on, such as heads of a section of the staff, specific tasks within a group, etc. If you like the idea, feel free to contact me, and please, PASS THIS AROUND! I’d love to see it get somewhere and look as professional as possible. Understand that it can’t be for profit, considering we’ll be using the names of actual companies (though I’ll be working to get permissions from sites, should SOPA actually pass). I’ll be taking the role of executive producer and head writer, and possibly story boarder should there not be anyone else who’s interested.
I’ll post a link when Red Eye Comics has a section devoted to the project, but for now, this is the base of operations.
