I never played the first one (I don’t have an Xbox), but I heard it was great, and I know a lot of you guys would be interested in the news.

I’ve only recently played the original, it was so imaginative and the characters were really memorable. A sequel I feel would do much better as a downloadable title for Steam, PSN and XBLA since it wouldn’t hurt so much if it didn’t sell super well and Double Fine have been doing a lot of downloadable games recently.

It will be pirate themed.

also I don’t think a sequel is a good idea, yeah it was great but the game industry has changed, and Psychoanuts is a classic and it’ll be hard to upgrade a classic to 2012 standards

I don’t dislike Minecraft.

It’s just that Notch is not a very good developer.

He doesn’t optimize his games, he takes frequent vacations instead of working on his game, he releases an unfinished product (don’t you even try to tell me that minecraft is a finished game), and on the whole he seems like a very lazy developer.

Jeb has released more in the last 3 weeks than Notch has in the last 6 months.

Psychonauts is overrated. There I said it.

Don’t get me wrong, it had amazing characters, themes and humour which Schafer always does well but his game mechanics always let him down and were archaic when they were released.

Even more recent titles like Brutal Legend show that Shcafer is a better writer than he is a game designer, I only wish he can go back to making point and click adventure games cause Telltale Games are burying themselves in shit.

Minecraft isn’t a finished game in the same vein that TF2 isn’t a finished game, just with more bugs. Mojang is still releasing new things for the game. Why it’s being called a “finished” game I really don’t know, as it’s still being frequently updated and patched.
Although I do agree Jeb probably does more work on the game than Notch, at least recently.

And they didn’t even add in any of the good ones, either.
