We’ve had this discussion before. I don’t listen to much Brony music but I would say my favorite is Woodentoaster.

For some reason i can actually picture spike better as a girl than a boy. Speaking of spike i have a question. If spike were a human would he be
African American because a lot of the fan art that depicts him as a human views him as a African American child.

So what do you think guy’s?

When it comes to brony music, I’ve only listened to Alex S. I tend to stay away from most of it unless it’s a remix of lines from the show. Like this one:

I don’t really know why. I guess I just find it creepy that people are willing to write original songs and sing about ponies and, as far as I’m aware, that’s the only thing they’re willing to sing/write about (maybe not, I wouldn’t really know). Or maybe I’m just less of a music person, since I do read fics, and most people who write MLP fics never wrote about anything else.

Creepy Cosplay outfits?

Meh, I’m kinda used to it now, I’ve seen so many of those. Not to mention that I have seen worse than that one.

I stopped getting the impression that these things were weird a long time ago. Around about the time I realized that humanity is just weird like that in general and nothing is truly normal. Sure, one may feel rather embarassed for them but hey, its their problem, not mine. And who am I to judge anyway? I’m just as nerdy.

‘Too far’ is a very relative term.
That is certainly weird and nothing I would ever consider doing, but he(?) isn’t hurting anyone so I’d say ‘let him be.’
Some could argue that this hurts our image, and to an extent it does, but only in the minds of people already predisposed to stereotyping entire groups based on the actions of a few.
To anyone who takes people as individuals, this shouldn’t really matter much.

I dont like that and I would never consider doing it, but whatever. If he wants to prance around in that, that’s his problem, not mine.

No, and no. I don’t know if that’s taking the fandom too far, and I am not OK with it.

Kinda like BSoD was saying, I’m not one to tell someone else what to do. However, if you’re posing like that in a suit like that, even at a convention, then I am well within my rights to avoid you at all costs. Not going to point and laugh or anything. I don’t want to ruin your fun. But yeah. You’d creep me out a bit.

Cosplaying? I dunno, it’s just putting on a silly costume for fun, even if it’s a pink pony from a cartoon. Not that I’d feel confortable doing it or being around a person doing it either (especially if they we’re playing the part) but pretty much anything goes.

Yep. That second one is Chris Chan cosplay. I think alot of people just do it for the lulz.

So, I heard that Derpy is getting her own toy which includes the derped eyes. Does that mean the war has been won?

Rule #1: Do not talk about the Derpy War.

However… I would not say there was a war to win, things happened, but there was nothing we could do about it. I would hope that this would be a way of them saying they still like us, and may be sorry about what happened to the character, but that’s just my romanticized version of what is happening.

It’s just another shout out. Probably nothing more, probably nothing less. It is nice that there are muffins on the box; that made me smile.

Coming to a Comic Con near you (if you live near San Diego, California):

There was never a ‘war’ against Derpy.
Hasbro didn’t really want to censor her, but large corporations have always had disproportionate reactions to minor complaints.
They were just being a business.
They had (and to an extent, still have) no idea how to deal with this crazy ‘brony’ thing.
It’s so out of their usual comfort zone.
Derpy as a Comic Con toy proves that they are really putting an effort behind it and I hope it will pay off greatly so they will continue in the future.

That is great, congratulations on your A. Is it university or college algebra?
Edit: In Canada there are 3 levels of High School education including Academic/University, Applied/College and Work/Essentials. I do not know the American High School education system, so can you give me a Canadian equivalent of the level which you are in.
