This episode reminds me of the eclipse episode of the first Avatar. Except the heroes are even more losing.

I guess we now know that Fartbending is the advanced skill in airbending.

I was really sad when Meelo jumped in and did that. The fight scene was so epic, and they had to bring a comic relief character in…

And the kids using really generic phrases while fighting Equalists was a bit painful as well.

Agreed. Meelo’s juvenile humor is nowhere near my ideas of being funny. And I thought Pema was going to die in childbirth. How glad I am that I was wrong. That episode would have been cruel if that had happend.

Always remember that even though it’s mature for a children’s show, none of the main characters are going to die. You just can’t do that on a children’s network. The most one can get away with is implied death or mentioning it.

Lin just had to go and lose her bending. I mean, the best character was decommissioned. Very sad episode.

There is no best character. They’re all awesome. Except Meelo. Meelo constantly steps in and out of my awesomeness meter. He’s a maybe.

Well, everybody does love chakras. It’d be bery Nick to do a reset-button on major problems, (Bending being taken away, destruction of cities, etc.) but this show is darker, so I’m hoping for more permanent consequences.
