@Iamslow: While I admire Hot Topic for their acceptance of bronies, and I have already bought two items from them (and will probably be back Friday to get a Derpy to complement my Dashie), it’s not a store I enjoy going into. I guess it’s how they still give off that creepy kid in high school vibe, with all of the emo/punk body jewelery and clothing. It’s just trashy, in my opinion. If they weren’t so weird, I would probably frequent them more for brony items, but as it is, I already ask for no bag because I’d rather carry a fully visible pony figurine halfway across campus from the parking lot to my dorm than to carry a Hot Topic bag obscuring it (then again, I’m a relatively open brony).

@Short Season 3: I guess it makes sense. Kids always like the reruns, and I can think of a bunch of shows I like even now that have shorter seasons. However, if there’s one thing that I wish they would get from having us, it would be that, being older and preferring novelty, we would rather have full seasons. After what I said above, I’d give up a Derpy speaking part with original voice for that.

Remember the film Misery? Well my save Derpy plan would be just like that. Also, someone give the Mane 6 their bayonets.

Mostly, it’s simply an overall tolerance (and interest in) heterosexual shipping. Still retain everything else, though (not a fan of lesbian/bisexual ships and all that)

Speaking of Fluttershy, there’s this girl at school that reminds me of her. Her name’s Courtney, and she’s been in a few of my classes in 9th and 10th grade (in 11th now). She resembles Fluttershy in appearance: eyes, nose, chin, hair parted away from her forehead. She also seems to share personality traits with Fluttershy: quietness and shyness. She hardly talked at all (quiet), and she was barely audible during her turn of the debate we had in History last year (shy).
Now for the irrelevant information: I’ve seen her have almost every single hair color: it started out dark blond-ish (with a hint of pink, I believe), then changed to brown, and later black. I have no idea what her hair’s natural color is.

I have a request. The World Series begins tonight. I would like someone to draw a ponified version of two baseball players. One pony wears a Detroit Tigers jersey, the other pony wears a San Francisco Giants jersey. They both have bats, and they are looking at each other. The 2012 World Series logo should be in the center.

I nearly laughed out loud when I say that article! I kinda figured something like that might happen… the “other” category was dominating all others in their polls!

At the time of writing this, Twilight is best pony, with Fluttershy in a close second. These numbers seem to fluctuate a lot!

Wow, Twilight is on top now? At first, they didn’t even have a Twilight category, apparently, hence the large amount of “other”. Still, I’m OK with that. Twi has been approaching a tie with Dashie lately for me. It’s close, and fluctuates day to day, but she’s up there.

The main My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic received a major rewrite, including a merge with the (now deadpooled) bronies entry. Important stuff added, other stuff removed, reorganised and rewritten several sections that were already there, etc.

Please check it out and give feedback. If you notice any small stuff like grammar or broken html, please use the suggestion feature on the entry.

I’ll try and add a table of contents on top of the page later this week, should make browsing through it a lot easier.

I pride myself on being able to keep footnotes in order. I can guarantee if you give me the text, I could rearrange them all into the proper order. I don’t even need an editorship, if you just mail me the current code and just copy-paste what I send back. Personally, I feel it will be more professional if it’s fixed. I am more than willing to correct it if it is so desired.

I feel like I missed something here. What prompted this reaction out of Adweek? (And I should add that their reaction was hilarious) What was EqD doing, sending them write-ins?

As for that poll, it looks like it shifted dramatically since you guys last checked. Twilight is in the lead by good margin with Rarity very close behind in second place. Looks like Rarity is finally getting more appreciation in the fandom.

I saw Derpy falling behind so I voted for her. We can’t let the fandoms own creation go unnoticed

Well I tried my best to defend the Brony article 3 months ago but it looks like we’ve caved in to the demands of the masses (or the top comments). Damn, I really thought there was a good reason to give notable fandoms their own article. The Furries have one so why can’t we? Nevermind…

Anyway, the main article is looking good. I don’t see any other errors. Although I have suggested adding Ponyconfessions as a related link because people continue to dump confessions in the image gallery and I don’t believe that is necessary when we can just direct people to look at the ponyconfessions tumblr whenever it updates.

To indicate the spread of MLP across tumblr we only need to take note of the tumblrs that are created, not post every single image they create

@BSoD: Here’s the article that originated the write-in campaign. You really need to read it to understand.

Note that it was put up 25 hours ago or so (based on my timing from my timezone to the most recent article, which had to have been posted in the last half hour, as I was there barely 30 minutes ago for my daily check). The article about the best pony poll on EQD went up EIGHTEEN HOURS LATER. That’s how huge it was.

Related to new EQD article: Funko says we have two new vinyls on the way. Oooh booy….

Assuming that every “other” in those polls translate to “MLP/The Hub” then Holy crap!

I just thought I might share two brony irl encounters I had. These were the first bronies I’ve seen in real life, so it was kind of neat I guess. Anyways, I didn’t actually go up to them because 1) I don’t feel like striking up a conversation because I happen to like the same show 2) the guy was at a rave and it was packed so I couldn’t go up to him even if I wanted to, and the girl was at a bookstore and she wasn’t… My type I guess you could say.

Anyways, so Aviccii is playing and I see this guy fist pumping and he’s got the mane six dolls on his kandi. It was easily in the top 5 best kandis I saw that night ( this girls pikachu face and my friends pacman ghost ones where way better though) he had on gen 3 doll though next to rarity though. I also want to say I saw someone with a dj pon3 shirt and some dude had the same power ranger tee fury shirt as me! Crazy since they only have each design for sale for one day. But yeah, I saw a couple pony things that day.
At the bookstore the other day, I saw some girl with a doctor hooves shirt. I guess she saw me looking at it, because then she came up to me and asked me if I liked her shirt and if I was a brony. I lied and said that I just remember seeing something online about it but knew nothing else. Spagetti then erupted from my pockets as I just walked away without saying anything else.
