That’s you and that’s your opinion. We can’t force you to change it.
With you, we simply have to remember the fact that you’re 10. You still carry the opinion of “Ew, girls, cooties”. To you, boy and girl stuff are still things to keep seperated, which can also be found back in the fact that you don’t bother with “pegasisters” as much. My Little Pony is still a “girly” thing to you, it doesn’t appeal to you and you most likely won’t like it. As the rest of us are already older, we don’t have that anymore. The girly factor of MLP doesn’t bother us as much. If we were of your age, our opinion would most likely be different than our current one.
So then why does Gravity Falls, a show for kids as well, appeal to you? Well, the answer is simple. It’s not a girls show. My Little Ponies are obviously targeted at the females of your age or even younger. But Gravity Falls lacks that both. It’s not aimed at just girls, but instead at both genders. And it’s not the super young age group either, the theme of Gravity Falls fits better with a bit older age group, more around your area and older.
You’re free to like Gravity Falls more. As well as others are free to like MLP. But it’s fun to see how the difference in theme and target audience can generate such a similar yet different opinion at the same time based on the age and person.
But let’s not make this thread too MLP orientated. Please return to the topic of Gravity Falls unless you have a quality reply to this. Same with the rest.
