He was a great soldier and a great Senator. Inouye was well known for his career supporting civil rights.

The thing about Leahy is that besides PIPA, Leahy’s a great guy. But yeah, Leahy made PIPA and that’s bad.

As far as the political ranks go, she’s next in the pecking order. Besides, Inouye sent a letter recommending her to Gov. Abercrombie as a successor.
