When I'm on a YT video and I switch to another address on Firefox, for a second while the page is changing it tells me in the corner of the screen that it's transferring data from "random letters.c.youtube.com". Is this something with Youtube, or do I have some problem? I already tried clearing my cache, and I don't think this would be malware, but I guess it would be a possibility. Anyone else getting this? The page loads just fine, it's just that the random and unofficial letters "transferring data" is a little unsettling.

It just means that it's loading from one page to the next.
It's always done that.
It's not the transferring data that's annoying me; I know it's always done that. It's the weird letters that have nothing to do with Youtube. I don't get them when I go somewhere from the Youtube homepage (It also isn't the random letters/numbers in the Youtube URL for that address either.) It's always been like that?
It's always been like that. Perfectly normal behavior
I believe “[random letters].c.youtube.com” are cache or redirect servers that manage traffic going through the YouTube Network.
Okay, well if it's nothing to be worried about, I guess this thread can be locked. I'm just always paranoid about this stuff. Thanks guys.
