What? Microsoft won't get out of the Hardware buisness. Maybe dirrectly for the most part, HOWEVER. We do see that Microsoft and Dell might be hooking up, word on the street is Microsoft may buy out Dell for about $3 Billion or at least a very large majority of their stock available. Microsoft is FAR from irrelevant, and PC sales are down. You know why? Total sales are down. Slate has been a failure, but how good was it advertised? Not well. How well was W8 advertised? Not great. How long has it been out? Not long. I don't think long enough for it to sell well yet, since the "Apple Magic" isn't there or anything like that.
I think you're confused by the title.
I should request to change the title to "Microsoft opting to sell their entertainment division to their biggest rival or Barnes and Nobles?"
Requesting.
