Was thinking about adding a dictionary/glossary to the site, inspired by some things I've learned recently-ish (in before "I can't believe you didn't know those")

idk = I don't know (I swear, this is a teenager thing, nobody I know over 20 uses this)

ITT = In This Thread (4chan speak)

Any other doozies? Good/bad idea?

Did some research and found http://www.noslang.com/ -- seems to be scratching my dictionary itch pretty well so far.

Love the translator! "Can't understand that text message? Put it in here" :D

BFD: Big F-ing Deal. Later adopted by Domino's Pizza as "Big Fantastic Deal."

BFG: Big F-ing Gun. The BFG 9000 is the most powerful weapon in the Doom video game series. Subsequently, Quake II and Quake III: Arena featured a duel-wielding pair of similarly powerful weapons, called the BFG10K.

@Chris
I was going to bump it just cause it was the oldest thread. 50000 internets for that mega BUMP.

@Redspear
He's referring to the "Burger King" error.

Also, here's that link you need. It contains everything.

I apologise if I typed it in wrong again, but try it this time anyway.

Exactly how the dictionary will be implemented into the site has yet to be discussed.

The Chanspeak / Lolspeak parent entry lists 12 common phrases. https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/lolspeak-chanspeak

The current dictionary in Etherpad is still under review.
