I just checked to see if one of the several DW threads we've had were still open, and none were. So let's go for it.

New series starts up in less than a month. Any theories about our new companion?

6 days until the season premiere. Who's excited?

Also, apparently Matt Smith is going to finish being the Doctor by Christmas.

@Brawler NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ah screw it he had a good run. I bet ya he's gonna resurrect Amy and Rory somehow because most companions last for more than one doctor. His very first companions lasted until the third doc.

I would appreciate if you wouldn't bumb your own thread who you were the last poster in after 15 days regardless of incomming content. Let someone else do it.

Season continuation.* Only 5/6 episodes, so it will be done by mid-May. As for Smith, he did promise to do the role until at least the 50th anniversary, and here we are.

Martha and Donna were both Tennant-only companions. So far, we've only had one major companion last for more than one Doctor – Rose. Eras now are more Doctor focused than when the show was in its infancy. The First Doctor's companions, Ian and Barbara, played a much more centered role than what characters play today. Still, I could see Moffat bringing Rory and Amy back – it certainly wouldn't be the first time for Rory.

6 days until the season premiere? I can't wait.

I will withhold my theories about the new season until the season premiers or we receive a good indicator of the direction of this season.

SOO the new episode was okay, but it just wasn't as exciting as it usually is. The show is kinda going downhill for me, but if Moffat gets his shit together, I'm certain I'll be pleasantly surprised

I like the episode where Dr. Who fights the cybermen to prevent them from exterminating everybody.

Did anyone get the Douglas Addams reference in the second episode of the new series?
