Have you ever been deep into an anime/manga and fond out that almost nobody has heard of it?
Post the title of anything you perceive to be under the radar, and really enjoyed watching/reading.
For me it was Koneko Pancake

I don't really think it's forgotten but I do believe people don't talk about it as much as they should.

omg! I love Mushi-shi. I agree, it's not so much forgotten, just under appreciated.
I had one in mind, but wouldn't you know it? I forgot it!

Nerima Daikon Brothers is awesome, I need to re-watch it.
Franken Fran, perfect for dark gory humour.
@Sir Crona
isn't Astro Boy super well known and loved in Japan?

@Silver Universe
I'm pretty sure the author said that it's on an indefinite hiatus, and that he might return to it one day. If enough people started barking up that tree, then I'm sure he'd go back to it. However, I'm doubtful that there are enough fans of it right now for him to continue working on it.
There's just something about road trip ques shows that I love, especially when the characters are animals.
