Is anyone aware that Valve is actually developing L4D3 before HL3?

Here’s the countdown site: http://l4d3.ru/

I don’t know if this things are real, but since no one is talking about… well… I hope this worth the weight.

I actually think this is getting to be fairly big news, and may require an added section to the “Left 4 Dead” Entry, or possibly it’s own entry as an event if it continues to get in more gaming news sites so quickly. I’m personally hyped as shit, and excited to see what the new special infected will look like/do (assuming they add new ones)

I just assumed HL3 is going to release alongside the Steam Box so I don’t get my hopes up too high.
Whenever that may happen…

Valve CAN count to the number three. And how do I know? There’s chapter three in half-life 2, and every L4D campaign has a 3rd chapter.

Don’t be silly. Valve can’t count to three. It’s going to be a reboot.

That’s just about all I can say on the matter.

Gabe Newell’s birthday is November 3rd. That’s day number three of the month.

Sorry, you guys forget that there’s two numbers in that title.

4+3=7. Valve still can’t count to 3. They’ve had 4 and 6, now 7.

Where’s L1D, L2D, L3D, and L4D1?

They’re probably chilling with Zombi 1, Alien 2, and Naked Gun 3.

I’m pretty sure that there were also a couple of file names uncovered recently that suggested that Half Life 3 is in development. I’d imagine that they’d want to save Half Life 3 for a bit later.

I actually prefer L4D. I didn’t enjoy HL that much.

Perhaps they are making cautious procedures unlike how other sequels/prequels in the gaming industry for half-life 3.

If that’s the excuse, it better be kick-ass.

It’s Valve. I can’t think of anything that they’ve made that people haven’t liked.

Incidentally, remember how many people pointlessly boycotted Left 4 Dead 2? Remember how well that game sold?

The boycott ended after Crash Course was released anyway.
And now that 100% of L4D1 has been rolled into L4D2, the fanboys will be completely satisfied anyway.
