Hey, are any of you guys in a band, or at least were? Right now, I'm in a cover band called Combat Jazz. I sing and sometimes play rhythm guitar. How about you?

As a bassist, I'm always in a band.
Seriously.
No one wants to play bass so those of us who actually do don't really have to look hard to find work.

I would play instruments if I could afford them. Perhaps next year.
Not yet. I should be in a band by the end of the year/early next year, hopefully. We'd probably sound like this.

I'm a pianist in a jazz band and I also perform classical piano solo. I write music too.

I am not. I have zero musical inclinations.
This is what my band would probably sound like if I had one.

I wish I was in one.
Closest thing that counts is my fleeting unrealistic dream of being a DJ
Well, I play guitar, but not yet near good enough for being in a band.
I'd like to be in one though, but I need to improve a lot first.
I don't want to talk about my first band.
I kinda sing and play guitar, but I think I should learn a bit more before going onstage.
I'm a clarinetist.
I am going to brag how I play all the notes.
I'm not in a band but I am a guitarist.

I'm not in a band but I play bass and make electronic music. It would be cool to be in one though.
Used to be in one in Highschool. I played the drums, my friend (the only one who wanted to be a musician as a full time job) played lead guitar, my black friend played rhythm guitar and my white friend played bass (he only played in the band to get chicks) and we had no real vocalist so everyone took turns except for me due to our bassist (who also thought that he was the leader of the band) said I wasn't allowed even though he never heard me sing (I don't know how great of a singer I am but I'd put more energy into it than the emotionless monotone he would sing with).
Needless to say, we split up after the first show. Here's footage from our only show
Lol just joking, but that singer still had more range than our 'lead' vocalist. Man do I wish we could've found better people for that band.
