-1 on that statement
Then what do you suggest we do to show our approval? There’s no voting system in place, so it’s not like we have many alternatives.
While I am here, have you heard about the benefeits of a posse?
Before I raise it’s point may I intrest you in…

Showing approval is one thing, posting nothing but +1 is another.
I will stop.
For a +1 for Jostin.
I have debts to pay to Tristan…

Posting 1 is a simple way to show approval in the absence of a formal approval/voting system. I do agree that you should post more than just "1", though.
….Fine,you scoundrels.
+1 1/2
Oh Iemaj, you and your witty remarks.
True. +1 what? Confirm? Deadpool? Work? It’s fine if you’re specific.
Even then, it still isn’t much, why do you think so? Is there a curtain reason? etc. etc…
Even then you should elaborate. Why do you think that? How can the author improve the article? Why is/isn’t this a meme? Etc…
That’s what I’m talking about.
But even then, I liked the “Zing!” trend better. ._.
Ok, sure.
i personally like the +1 confirm
Well, Shadowfury wants us to elaborate.
You don’t have to, it’s just better if you do. +1 confirm doesn’t say much, other than you approve of the article and that you think it should be confirmed. You could elaborate by stating your reason(s) for why it should be confirmed, and how the article may be improved. Providing examples is another great way to be constructive.
Still, though, a formal voting system would be nice. But the privilege should be confined to, say, Researchers, so that we don’t get troll votes. It would also relieve the comment clutter that we see with all the “+1 confirm” posts.
“You don’t have to,”
No, you have to. It’s totally a new rule and stuff.
If I remember correcly, the +1s started being posted because we wanted 2 admins to like an entry before it got confirmed.
The +1 meant “I think this article is perfect, but I need someone else to concur.”
Then users were encouraged to do the same and then came the +1 Deadpool and +1 work.
I don’t think people need to elaborate on why something needs too be confirmed but definitely elaborate about why it should be deadpooled or what needs to be worked on.
^^ This.
If everyone were to just to put a two letter comment, instead of lets say a well thought of one, it would make KYM a place where all the noobs would just put “+1” instead of thinking of something clever or witty. See what I’m saying?
