Netcraft has not confirmed it yet, but Slashdot is dying. Here are some alternatives that are popping up:

  • Soylent News, which is red.
  • Pipedot, which opened with the line "I'm doing a (free) news website (just a hobby, won't be big and professional like osdn)." Heh.
  • Technocrat plans to launch tomorrow.

Let's make this a thread to discuss technology news websites.

If you're into tech, what do you read?

>website announces they're changing up the UI/site design
>OMG it's dying!

This shit happens every time a site changes stuff. Youtube. Facebook. Fimfiction. I can't wait for KYM to get redesigned and bask in the rustled jimmies and butthurt that will make the advice animals look like a poorly done stage rehearsal.

Are people still boycotting CNET after the shit CBS pulled or did that die like pretty much every boycott does?
