Did somebody say pie day???

It’s a shame I don’t have school on this year’s Pi Day, since this is the only day of the year where I can cite off the first 111 digits I’ve memorized without people getting mad at me or telling me to shut up.

Has anyone else bothered to memorize more than three digits of pi?

All I know with certainty is 3.141596. I don’t really wan’t to bother learning any more. lol. My calculator does 16 places I believe though, so usually I just use that if I’m feeling paranoid.

3.141592653589793238462644 is the most I can. If I wanted to, I could probably do a digit a day but I’ve been busy.

This is pretty neat, if you haven’t seen it already.

A KYM Thread? About math?

Did you guys know that in Indiana the state legislature nearly passed a bill that would have set the legal definition of π as 3?

Here is the official (and earworm-inducing) song for pi:

Hope everyone celebrated pi day yesterday. If you didn’t, that probably means you’re a square.
