Is this the exception to rule #1 and #2; or am I completely wrong about it and I should delete this as soon as possible.

Rules 1 and 2 actually only apply to raids. It's a common newbie misconception.

Besides, moot himself said that the rules of the internet were idiotic so it doesn't really matter.
