Gardevoir=furry?

So… anti-furry dislikes Gardevoir as it is a Pokemon and most (if not all) Pokemon are prone to be poked as a furry's kiddy fantasy

Yet… pro-furry dislikes Gardevoir as it doesn't has any fur, only has hair(head hair btw hahaha) and is actually humanoid than anything except for that red horn between its chest .

What's your take on Gardevoir?

Side note: Why do every fanart decipt Gardevoir as a big chested lady. She's pettan(flat-chested), for crying out loud! σ_σ

It is entirely dependent on the context in which the content is presented, and the nature of said content. If an image is exaggeratedly anthropomorphous and/or somewhat sexual in nature, then yes, it would be considered furry art. If it is just a normal image of Gardevoir, that complicates things a little. At this point, it becomes subjective. Some would say that yes, it is furry, others would say that no, it is not furry. But if you remove the subjective part of it, it more or less fits the definition of furry, in that it is an image that depicts an anthropomorphic animal (Pokemon).

I have to agree with everything Shadowfury has said.

Pokemon is very controversial when pertaining to furries. It all actually depends on how the art is depicted. If made anthropomorphic (not necessarily, but usually, sexual), Pocket Monsters can be considered furry. If depicted as ordinary run-of-the-mill monsters, even if they are rather humanoid such as Gardevoir and Lucario, that's just ordinary Pokemon fan art. Not furry art.

Ah, see, that's a common misconception. Furries aren't interested in ONLY furred creatures but all sorts of animals.

You see, a furry character doesn't necessarily have to have fur for it to be furry since not all animals have fur. Two major examples of this include scaly animals and feathered animals (though, it is true that furries who are into these kinds of animals are also called Scalies and Avians respectively).

So, in all honesty, Gardevoir, even if it has no fur, feathers, or scales, is still considered furry because it is technically an animal. Pokemon are considered animals by all, if not, most of the furry fandom.

But, then again, you still probably don't care.
