I know this has been covered in Frequently Asked Questions. However, this still seems to be a problem with entries;

If your entry does not consist of credible information outside of simply stating "This is a meme" it will NOT, I repeat, NOT be confirmed.

You need to state why it is a meme, how it spread, and who and/or where started it.

Therefore, if you are looking to create an entry concerning a meme, please view recently confirmed memes to learn the proper format and technique to create a confirmable entry.

I've been saying this for months, it won't change a thing.

We can only hope

For people who go on the boards and really have a look around before submitting, this is a great thread and will help.

However, we all know that there are many, many users who don't do that sort of thing, they come to this site, register straightaway and try and either force a meme or don't include any information at all. Unfortunately that's the way it works at the moment until we can put a plan in action to counter it.
