Sure, Runescape being #17 is way too high for my taste, but, y'know…

Runescape is NOT better than Final Fantasy. WWE is not better than bioshock.

To those gamers those games are better.

Yeah, but this list doesn't fail. A couple of games could have been a bit higher up IMHO.

They did get one thing right, Halo and Runescape belong in the same list.

Now I get it, they didn't even try the games out, but relied on the stupid arse F@nBoi$e to take care of the popularity contset. Typical.

So, if this is considered a popularity contest, well that could be true.

Gawker Media's sites often make polls like this. Instead of actually researching and reviewing things, they just put it all to popularity contest. {1}{2} It's a simple trick that generates more pageviews, and therefore more ad revenue.
It's not necessarily a bad thing, as it invites their readers to engage in the content presented on their websites. Fundamentally, however, these polls serve the purpose of increasing pageviews.
Just take it with a grain of salt; this probably wasn't meant to be the definitive list, just a community consensus. Though it does offer quite a bit of insight into their readers' demographic.

List fail, Kingdom Harts is way better the FIFA or Runescape. . . (shiver) runescape

World of Warcraft is just one game.
It should at least be a series.

I dont know about diablo, its a great game, but its older than lolcats.

Although dont get me wrong I play starcraft a lot, but just doing an unbiased judgment.

There's more than one Diablo.
Speaking of which, Diablo III this year.

RG, I don't think they are going to release Diablo III (I'm so waiting for this one) before next year, at least.

Yeah that is true, but from what I heard Blizzards got the formula, and are just going to play off of that. (meaning to stop being inventive.)

Blizzard and Activision are both ass.
I remember when half of everything that Activision made was shit.
Actually, I wasn't alive then, but I know about it.

Blizzard's only total fail was Starcraft Ghost, and they never released that.

Also I am going to wait for a trilogy, why you ask, because the second this game is gonna get released, its going to be over ran with Koreans, and Koreans are worse than hacking.

Sometime from now, there will be talk of StarCraft 3. And it will be in development for 20 years.
It will come out the same day as Duke Nukem Forever.
