How the hell do I do it, or view them for that matter (I tried the view comments button but it just takes me to just a blank page with the image).

To comment on an image, go to the general image stream and click Details.
This also appears when you're looking at photo an entry's photo gallery.
If you your browser doesn't load images normally, try looking for a solution on google to fix this on your respective browser.
EDIT: Belongs in Site-Related.
doesn't work
same
Like BZ said, that's how you comment on an image.
And regarding the "problem", I tested it here.
If there was a problem, I think its been fixed.
IBTL.
Maybe it's because I still have Windows XP on my laptop.

I have windows XP on one of my computers, and I see images perfectly fine.
it's not seeing the images, it's being able to comment on them.
I had that problem too. What you probably have to do is to open the image in a tab. Then you'll see an 'add comment'-button.
Won't work
Which browser are you using, Adam Deland?
im using ie ive got the same problem as adam
It's ie that does it.
The easiest solution would probably be trying another browser (Firefox/Chrome/Safari). But if you want to continue using IE…
I just tried IE, and it won't allow me to comment like I normally do (clicking on "details" under an image). The one I have on my computer right now is Version 8.
However, when I opened the "details" in a new tab (Ctrl-click "Details"), I could comment. Which is what I think Erwinator meant….
So, it basically seems to be a problem with IE v.8 (I'm too lazy to test the other versions, but it probably wouldn't be too far off to say all versions of IE probably don't work either).
If you still have problems with commenting on IE (ctrl-click the "details"), or refuse to switch browsers, I don't know what to say.
I'm using IE version 7
Did you try ctrl-clicking the details (opening the details in a new tab), like I suggested? :/
