Why is ambition vilified so much in contemporary media or just in general really? I mean most every time theres a villain, besides being "Eviiiiil" their most defining character trait is their ambition… and susceptibility to being foiled.
I don't know last time I checked, being goal oriented and working hard were good things. Get to the top or die trying!
