When we beat Portal we found out the cake wasn't a lie.
But it looks like the potatoes were.

I've gotta say, it seems kind of shitty that Valve teased users into "helping release early" by encouraging people to buy the Potato Sack bundle, and then not even release early.
I'll still enjoy playing the game, but I can understand people being pissed if they bought the Potato Sack bundle hoping to play early.

I just realized the "announced" release time was 10:00 AM for PC's. But people buying on PS3 are still getting it at midnight, so the early release just means both get to play at the same time.

Yeah, I already preordered/preloaded and everything.
I'm pretty disappointed as well.

I really doubt the rumors that HL3 will release. I really think this might have just been a poorly executed marketing idea.

Well, no doubt a lot of people DID buy the potato sack just for this. It's a shame Valve couldn't pay up at the end.

What's really sad is that a lot of people probably bought the sack for the Ressurection Pin.

Good news: It looks like everyone who collected all 36 potatoes are able to play now.
Bad news: It looks like only about 100 people actually collected all 36.

I'll be honest, Valve is getting on my nerves with more than a few subjects.

Anyway, though with some flaws wiff dem tatters, people are genuinely liking Portal 2.
