However I do prefer NGE over Gundam for its darker atmosphere and mind games.

I will have to say Gundam, but couldn’t it be favorite mecha anime? So far I’m the second of six people to give an answer that was one of the options.

Gundam, but only because I’m more familiar with it. I remember watching Gundam Wing back in the glory days of Toonami.

I thought I posted in this thread, must have not made it than, or something, was along the lines of how bad anime is, like my usually response to a subject of this sorts.

Even though I am sure Gundam has something called a climax, I’m going with EVA on this one. (Mainly because the movies are amazing!)

Never been one for Mech anime, but i intend to watch Evangelion some time, if only because of the impact it had on the industry. From what I’ve seen of Gundam, it seems just a tad to dramatic.

I like mechas. All of them.
But my most favoured is Transformers.
