This song has a whole lot less impact if you don't know what's going on in the scene. Picture this; you just went though a Medical Area filled with Splicers, several ambushes (most of which take place in pitch-black rooms), and evidence of Dr Steinman's handiwork (corpses, bloody portraits with surgical marks on them, etc). You eventually find out he's gone insane and has started seeing visions of Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of Beauty. Once you finally get to his Surgery he's in the middle of "operating" on a Splicer and ranting about how several corpses strewn around his Operating Room were "imperfect". And then he sees you and proceeds scream at you at the top of his lungs and lunge at you with a Tommy Gun, all while this plays.
