As a side note: I’ve been thinking about doing something similar to Jack Candle’s Nuzlocke challenge but for another game. Does anyone know which game I should do and how I should do it?

Metal Gear Solid Nuzlocke.
If you die, you have to restart the entire game.

Hmm I don’t have it.

Here’s a list of games I have and think I could do.

KOTOR: NO MEDPACKS, NO UPGRADES, NO ARMOUR, MELEE ONLY, FINAL DESTIN- Er yeah that’s it.

Half Life: Death means restarting the chapter. (This would be pretty easy though and wouldn’t make for a very interesting story.)

Mechwarrior 2 Mercs: The only weapons and mechs I can use must be salvaged. Nothing can be bought. Repair only at the end of each campaign. (Probably the best for making a story, though I doubt most users would be able to relate to it)

Fallout 3: No stimpacks. Fight everything in sight unless it is vital to the story / unkillable.

Left 4 Dead 2: No healing. Pistols / melee only.

If anyone has more suggestions go ahead and post them.

also, another suggestion:

Killer7 Nuzlocke:
If a character dies, they can’t be used until the next chapter.
also, you can’t heal using blood, and you only use charged shots when necessary.

I can only do PC games at the moment but the Killer7 Nuzlocke’s rules could still apply to L4D. That would certainly be interesting.

If you want we could try the L4D2 one and see if it’s even remotely possible.
