Ok, "completely off" might have been a bit of overreacting. Yeah, Iced Hot was unclear with his vote. However, he never stated that he actually switched votes. My example used an old list from BSoD btw.

So we just looked at it differently. Nonetheless, to me it was an incorrect list.

Bruelock isn't going to vote, Jeffery can't be trusted to vote, Nightfury retracted his vote a while ago.

If this continues, we might be forced to have a voter from Iced and Dr. Meme retract theirs. That way we keep a 3 way tie with 5 votes each. Or one of the non-voters votes now and we can aim for 6.

That we were completely off all the time. There never was a tie (well, there probably was at certain points), his vote shouldn't have been there.

Falcon, how much time do we have in this round? I'll retract my vote if we're getting close to the end of this Phase. Alternatively, if Random is still suspicious of me, then someone else can retract theirs.

Considering how everyone's in a commotion over attempting to make a balance, I shall propose this:

If someone in the I.H.S category retracts their vote, then I will pull my vote for Dr. Meme, thus leaving 5 votes in all four sections (404, I.H.S, Dr, Non), if random's charts are accurate

When I counted the votes last, I missed this vote because Ice (as usual) did not make it clear that we was even voting

When did people get the idea I voted for myself? I randomly voted Dr. Meme, then I was told to vote again because my first one was 'confusing'. Then I randomly voted Pyro, then apparently that was also screwing things up, so now I'm finally voting for 404.

guys I think I have two ideas:

1) We PM Jeff, asking for him to come and vote. It seems practical, although we cannot be entirely certain that he is available

2) I.H.S and BSoD retract their votes since they are pretty much here at the thread at this point and it will make things a lot easier (imo)

Another thing you can do to avoid voting confusion: bold your choice. *choice*

My vote is currently on Dr.Meme so retracting my vote won't help.

I retract my vote from Iced Hot Chocolate.

I'm not voting for anyone right now. I'd prefer it if the non-voters would vote, because it leaves less room for error, but given how I've been missing some obvious stuff this round, I'm just going to do as asked.

Also, in addition to being clear in how you're voting and putting it in bold, I'd suggest people put it on a line by itself, so as not to get it lost in what you're explaining. How we go about the game here is based primarily on vote counts. If anything, then let's make that obviously clear for those who go through the trouble of counting them.

You know, Douglas, I believe that the votes have started to solidify a fair bit, especially considering everyone has stated their vote or lack thereof, thus far

My suggestion would just be waiting at least half an hour to ensure that no more shitstorms occur and then starting the next phase.

That way, it will help to progress the game as well as prevent more confusions, if noone else is to vote.

Also, you should really be making more of an effort to improve on the story within the game. I know the theme of TF2 doesn't leave that much room, but that doesn't mean i'm not expecting BSoD quality presentation

Ah well… at least this helps us get somewhere since there was an imbalance of real votes as cause by mafia thus leading to a two-way tie in exclusion of 404

This leads to one of the following scenarios (numbers shall refer to # mafia voted, assuming there are only four):

A) 1 I.H.S, 1 Meme, 2 404
B-E) 0 I.H.S, 0 Meme, 1-4 404, 3-0 Unvoted (cannot be 4 since 404 was not in tie)

Although this does not give much to work on as of yet, it is a good start.

Also, although there are several scenarios to choose from, I believe that next turn we should attempt to take down max. I'm sorry, but the misplaced vote trick only works once, and I believe that I took that honour.

In addition, with pursuing max, in the worst case scenario, we kill an engy and all scenarios are still valid. However, if he indeed is a Spy, then we can then resort to Scenario A and work from there.

If anyone has noticed anything wrong with my logic, please do not be ashamed to attempt to correct me.

You're almost correct, but you forgot that we decided to not let the Scout's vote count.

So let me put it down a bit better.

Scenario 1:

• No mafia voted for Dr. Meme and Iced Hot → All mafia votes are scattered between 404 and non-voters.

Scenario 2:

• Dr. Meme and Iced Hote both received 1 mafia vote → 2 mafia voted 404, remaining mafia voted 404 or not at all.

The scenario's are a bit too open atm, we'll be able to narrow it down after another day phase.

This could mean that more mafia votes were pooled into 404.

Max did the same thing, and people have said 404 is acting differently, no?

The odd methods employed by the following people do strike an air of suspicion. However, given the limited voting circumstances, it would be wiser to vote on the more obvious discrepancies and give other people the chance to prove their innocence or otherwise.

I would say that Random's second scenario fits my suspicions, but one of those who voted for 404 and some of those who didn't vote are game-savvy enough to evade suspicion. We'll see if someone can offer some hints.

I suppose I should disregard the story and just know that EP73 is dead and was an Engineer.

Well, considering it's day time, I'm going to start the votes off by going for max.

If we can go for another three way tie, we might get further in mafia accusations

Personally, I think we should just go for a two way tie, for the sake of sanity.

I think a three-way tie is best, assuming everyone votes. It forces an uneven distribution among the spies.

I also suggest we vote for people who did not vote or at least make them a priority. Especially if they commented on the thread and didn't vote.
