Lately the users of KYM have found themselves caught in a sudden influx of streams. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn’t be a problem. We all love watching others mess up in video games and making jokes about it. The problem comes from the fact that as more streams pop up, we’ll see streams go on at the same time as other streams. This would provoke the idea of favoritism amongst us, the viewers.

My solution to this is to work out a possible schedule amongst all streamers and potential streamers so that the viewers won’t have to pick between two streams.

Streamers, would you all be willing to agree to this? If you would, it would be really helpful to detail what you would stream, what days you would be able to stream and at what times.

I ask for cooperation so that this is resolved before it becomes a major issue for everyone involved (mostly the viewers).

As I’ve said in my main thread (which inadvertently started the damn trend), I’m usually streaming on weekdays starting at 4:30. I like to try and go till 7:00, but I usually end up ragequitting long before that. I’m currently streaming the Half-Life franchise, about halfway through the first game.

Sure. I do a Pokemon Gold Nuzlocke, using the services of the fucking AMAZING http://playr.org/. I have no set schedule and no idea of when I’ll be able to stream or not. I’ll make sure nobody else is or is about to go.

Really? Only two streamers? I though we had some more streams.

If two streams are all we have, I guess setting up a schedule would be easy. But I’ll leave this here in case others decide they want to start a regular stream.

It was a good idea, Bob. There have been other streams. RPP had an anime stream, and there have been movie nights as well. Heck, I may consider doing a stream or some SynchTubes depending upon how my summer looks and what I have at my disposal.

We need this for the many reposts of the same thread over and over of streaming.

Okay, from what I’ve gathered:

• Streams on weekdays from 4:30 EST until he ragequits (or 7pm if he gets that far)

Luis

• Streams are rather sporadic and pop up here and there

Suiseiseki

• Streams on weekdays from 5-7 pm EST (except Friday)
• Weekend streams may go on longer

Hope this helps. Also, if there are any scheduling concerns, I ask that you be able to work them out amongst yourselves if possible.

Everyone is abandoning Cite.

I considered Friday a weekend so I’ll keep it going longer like on Saturday and Sunday.

That was enjoyable.

Was the video/audio working properly? I simply couldn’t check without closing the stream.

I know I had some trouble getting it to work at first and I just want to make sure I wasn’t sending out some crappy, muted footage.

I didn’t figure out how to have it stream my mic until after this.

That was entertaining when we all played TF2, I’m surprised that no one thought my voice sounded weird for a black guy.

After the rough start, everything started to work properly. And your mic was fine during Fallout.

I think we should all do a multiplayer game of L4D2.

I’d join, if

A) I had my desktop monitor
B) My parents won’t let me play stuff
C) My laptop was capable of playing it (alternative for A)
D) I don’t have any private areas within the house to play
E) My headphones/mic would make it harder to ensure my parents weren’t trying to catch me
F) The gameplay was in the A.M hours, since they’d still possibly be asleep by then.

And so on…

But i’m all in favour of this multiplayer session, just saying

Suis, you should make your own thread for this. I think Bob made the thread as more of a directory, not where all streams should go.
