I tell them back, I'm a little annoyance, like a paper cut.

A woman once asked me, "Do you not know how to smile?"
My lips desperately tried to curve, I haven't for a while.
A while is quite the understatement; it's actually been quite long
It seems to be that she was right, I can't smile all along.

The only time so far I've smiled was to hold back the tears
The ones I didn't dare release at all throughout a year.
To hide whatever I had felt was what I aimed to do
Of all the people in this world, t'was I whom I lied to.

These feelings I myself repressed, they did not do me well
If I was to cry, yell, or sulk was not for me to tell.
A heart thay once felt happiness, it now seems not to beat
What once sat on Euphoria's throne was chained to Misery's seat.

The tears of others it had shunned, they dripped; my heart cared not
Sympathy for others my heart seemingly forgot.
The negative emotions came, they rained like gelid hail above
The bitter cold of my own life dispelled the warmth of love.

This calloused heart does softly beat, cracking the carapace
Desperate attempts, they were, to gasp for affection, love, and bliss.
I try to hold all these tears back with all the strength I can
To make myself feel reassured as if I were a man.

But if I really were a man, I'd deal with all these fears
Be true to my emotions, and let go of all these tears.
Get up from the dirt, I must, remove Apathy's mask
Reveal the face the light once touched, and smile again at last.

I wrote this when I was feeling excruciatingly miserable.

Roses are red.

The aspects of users are plenty and vary,
But one thing I've noticed is constant about them:
The boredom abusers make threads that would harry
The modship unnoviced enough to go rout them..

Yes, I did have to point out the cadence and rhymes, because it took me several minutes to come up with that. Screw creativity i am a gud poet.

Well seems like Op gave a try on portry,
But failed miserably cause it wasn't rhythming,
Next time when you post roses and violets,
Make it decent or you'll cause violence.
