All you have to do is continue the story. The max is 5 sentences per post (not including sentences that aren't part of the story), and you can't post twice in a row. Got it? Good.

I'll go first.

Mario is wandering around the Mushroom Kingdom with Luigi. They're just walking around, and are looking for a place to have a picnic. And, yes, they're packed for a picnic.

Upon finding an appropriate landmark with eyes, they sat down and began to eat their mushroom sandwiches, wondering why they hadn't invited anyone else. Seriously. No one else was coming.

As they chew their mushroom sandwiches slowly, an peaceful silence envelopes the evening. Hard times have begun in the Mushroom Kingdom, and Everyone seemed to rely on Mario and His Brother for help. As they look to their left, they can see the looming skyscrapers of Mushroom city.
It's as though THEY were the problems plaguing the city, the demons and vices, the young Koopa in the back alley, the corrupt official, looming over the citizens like a dark cloud.

Luigi suddenly breaks the silence: "That-a really reminds me of that-a time I went-a to a haunted-a mansion." Mario replied, "I bet-a it was hard on-a you." Luigi: "Yep." Mario: "Big-a surprise…" Luigi: "At-a least I'm a tad braver than-a before…"

Luigi, again, suddenly breaks the silence. "Mario, I'm rally sorry about what happened with Peach an-"
"No, no," Said Mario. "We came here to relax, remember?"
"Heh, right…" Replied Luigi.

As the Mario brothers – who have gotten over Peach getting kidnapped by Bowser for the umpteenth time – are finishing their mushroom sandwiches, a few yellow Yoshis come by. Luckily, Mario had packed fruit by the dozen. As Mario was throwing food to the clearly hungry Yoshis; Luigi started thinking about the time he fought Kirby, Pit, and Mr. G&W on SSBB's Battlefield. A smash ball drifted by, he broke it, he used his Final Smash, and everything was going great for him. Then, something happened during his Final Smash…

Mario ragequits and resets the match. Luigi, in a fit of rage, kicks over the Wii, resulting in Missingnos, Missingnos everywhere. Now, the group must join forces to combat the glitchy pokemon.

(Well, this is… sudden.
Anyways…)

Luckily, Luigi was easily able to defeat the Missingnos with his Electrichand technique. However, the electricity managed to paralyze Princess Peach, who was almost right outside the Mario brother's house, being chased by Bowser. And Mario saw the paralyzed Peach being kidnapped by Bowser.

(And that's why Luigi apologized to Mario about "what happened to Peach".)

This time though, it seemed like all of the possible answers led to dead ends. every clue that could've led to King Koopa himself was shrouded, obscured. It seems as though Mario and Luigi had run out of answers.

After their picnic, the bros. decided to go save Peach. They had not even walked one quarter of a mile when 2 wild Wooper crossed their paths. The two Wooper took a good liking to the brothers and followed then along. Thank goodness: If Bowser were a Pokémon, he probably wouldn't do well against a Wooper, let alone 2 – his fire breath would make him be a Fire-type Pokemon, and beating a Gastrodon with a Charmander is no walk in the park.

As they KO the last of MissingNos, a great buzzing noise begins. The MissingNo corpses sink into the ground, which becomes all glitchy and stuff. From the distortion rises an antimatter Bowser…

Wait, where did this come from?

The antimatter bowser proceeds to steal the MissingNO corpses, and clones them.

Diddy Kong and Marth are having a Brawl on the Battlefield. Then, suddenly, a golden hammer appears an equal distance away from the two brawlers! The fight has suddenly become a race to the golden hammer!

Just as they are about to race towards the golden hammer, a smart bomb appears. They both stop, unable to decide which of the items they want.

There eyes dart towards each others, in a head to head showdown of wits. Yet suddenly, a new challenger appears! Darting at the speed of sound itself, a fuzzy blur comes up from behind and takes the hammer and lights the bomb at Diddy's and Marth's Feet. He stops for only a brief second, only to rub his victory in. "See ya, suckers" Sonic says before running off the screen, Hammer in hand.

At this point, a smash ball appears high overhead. Sonic desperately grabs at it; the hammer restrains him, and he is stuck on the ground. Marth, though gravely injured from the Smart Bomb, jumps from Diddy's head, and claims the final smash in a single blow. Sonic, realizing his predicament, dashes towards Marth, hammer in hand. Alas, he's too slow, and Marth lands a critical hit.

Suddenly, an assist trophy appears near a cardboard box. Solid Snake suddenly pops out of it, and activates the assist trophy. As the casing around the assist trophy peels away, It reveals…..

Snake runs off to the edge of the map, barely containing his rage, as Waluigi fruitlessly tries to attack Marth and Diddy. Sonic, who is really pissed, jumps into the fight and uses his homing attack on Marth. As soon as Waluigi disappears, A dragoon part appears at Snake's feet. He picks it up, as Marth is killed by Sonic. Diddy somehow manages to evade Sonic and grab the other two parts. Snake quickly shoots a rocket and kills Diddy, making him drop his Dragoon Parts. as sonic nears the parts, Snake suddenly grabs him in a sleeper hold, and knocks him out. Snake proceeds to grab the two remaining parts, as Marth and Diddy respawn.

(Keep in mind you can only have 5 sentences in a single post at max, not counting the ones that aren't part of the story. If a sentence is not part of the story, make sure it's in parentheses. That way, I know.)

After respawning, Sonic and Marth decide to team up. A Pokéball and a gooey bomb appear, and the two newly-made team-mates pick them up. Sonic throws the Pokéball, releasing a Manaphy, which uses Heart Swap on him and Diddy Kong. Marth quickly sticks his sword in the ground and throws the gooey bomb at Snake. The gooey bomb successfully hits, and Snake blows up while Marth pulls his sword out of the ground, shortly before he grabs the Dragoon pieces.

(All brawlers are currently at 2 lives. Sonic and Diddy Kong were affected by Heart Swap. The effects of Heart Swap last for 5 posts. Sonic and Marth have also teamed up, and they will remain a team unless they end up being the only 2 left.)

Meanwhile, Pit and Luigi are chilling in Skyworld eating food.
They do not realize that a major fight is occurring and then they just keep eating.

(BTW, if someone gets ninja'd, the story splits.)

As Pit and Luigi are NOMing at Skyworld, Sonic is getting used to being in Diddy Kong's body. But – WHAT'S THIS? Despite being in Diddy Kong's body, Sonic can still use his homing attack ALONG with the peanut popguns – a truly lethal combination! Marth, realizing the Heart Swap, isn't surprised when Diddy Kong is confused about being in Sonic's body. Ignoring this confusion for a while, he grabs Sonic, creates the dragoon, and the two send a lethal air-riding-peanut-homing-speed-using attack to the currently recovering Solid Snake!

(SNAKE: 1 stock. SONIC, MARTH, AND DIDDY KONG: 2 stock. PIT AND LUIGI: Infinite stock.)

Suddenly, out of nowhere, another smash ball appears and Snake quickly grabs it, having just spawned in. Snake proceeds to activate his final smash and get on a helicopter. He then brings out a grenade launcher, and kills everyone. as the Final Smash powers down, everyone is just respawning.

(EVERYONE: 1 stock LUIGI & PIT: Infinite stock.)

One of the grenades accidentally launched to Luigi and Pit. Skyworld starts to crumble, and Luigi and Pit start their small journey to the battle.

Meanwhile, Sonic realizes he's out of time. He starts charging the peanut popgun in his shield in order for it to blow up in Diddy's face and stall him. Luckily, right before he's done charging, Heart Swap will wear off.

Sonic miscalculates, and Diddy returns to his body before the popgun charges fully. Still dazed by the change back, he snaps to his senses just in time to let the peanut fly. Sonic, back in his own skin, quickly executes a homing attack, narrowly dodging the peanut and rushing towards Diddy Kong. Snake launches his last grenade at Diddy just as Sonic hits him, KOing both. Pit and Luigi rush onto the field to replace them.
Marth: 1 Snake: 1 Sonic: Dead . Diddy: Dead. Pit and Luigi: 3

The brawl comes to a quick halt as the four split into two teams, each smasher having 2 lives: Marth and Snake on red, Pit and Luigi on green. Two Pokéballs appear, and Snake and Luigi are quick to pick them up. Luigi gets Snorlax, and Snake gets Electrode. As Snorlax comes crashing down, Snake cleverly recoils it with the Electrode. Then, suddenly, a hacked blue Falco and blue Pikachu appear out of nowhere – and to the shock of the other Smashers, the two are now the almighty Megaman (the hacked Falco) and Manaphy (the hacked Pikachu)!

(By the way, due to the sudden intrusion of the hacked Falco {actually, I'll make it a hacked Wolf} and Pikachu {I'm gonna change it to a hacked Jigglypuff – it's more fitting}, the battle has become a 2-on-2-on-2, and the two hacked characters are of team blue.)

(All Smashers currently have 2 lives. Snake and Marth are on Red, Pit and Luigi are on Green, and Megaman {really a hacked Wolf} and Manaphy {really a hacked Jigglypuff} are on Blue.)
(Also, I didn't just edit the last post to replace Falco with Wolf and Pikachu with Jigglypuff because I'm not allowed to. Seriously. Just try to edit a post YOU made over 30 minutes ago.)
