And then make a clock and an item frame.

You begin your hunt for gold. Shortly afterward, you find it.

However, you don’t have the leather required to make an item frame.

Well shit.

Forgot that an item frame required leather.

Well then, venture into the wilderness, prepared with a few swords, a bundle of wheat, and tools, along with your trusty compass, and obtain some cows.

If there is only two, then lure them to your farm using your tantalizing wheat and bread them afterwards.

You scour the wilderness, hoping to find a cow. unfortunately, all you find on Swamp Island (that’s its name now) is pigs, chicken, and slimes.

Apologies for the late response :(

Oh well, at least the effort was worth to find some animals to slaughter befriend.

Obtain some sand and start making glass and then glass panes for your house.

You now have half a stack of glass, ready to be placed in the location of your choice.

EDIT: Misread that last part, your 1/2 stack of glass became 1 1/4 stack glass panes, plus two.

Make an infinite water source near your house, since you waste hunger just walking to the ocean and back.

Find some lava: make incinerator.

@General Grievous
You enter Saxton Hale mode, allowing you to kill creepers with your damn bare hands.

You leave this mode afterward so you may continue your journey.
@Lone K
The ocean is literally three blocks away…

Wait/sleep ’till morning, then kill some pigs and make porkchops.

And find some skeletons for bonemeal, plant a tree, and use bone meal to make it grow.

You already have plenty of trees around you, so you just skip to the porkchop part.

Suddenly, you spot a creeper in the distance.

Try to avoid it, because it looks like you don’t have much armor.

You continue your merciless onslaught on the pig population, and proceed to cook your porkchops.

Go Saxton Hale mode, and pull some leather out of your ass. Then make an item frame for that clock.

I can only go Saxton Hale mode once every page get (no, they don’t stack), and even then, Saxton Hale mode is for punching things only.

Darn. Well, maybe you could start a small farm? I don’t know. Maybe go look for a new land?

Land ho!
It be another grassland, but it be much more formidable then yer last outpost. Ye also notices a land ‘o’ logs up ahead.

Yay or nay? (2 votes decides if you stay or keep going)

You wait until day and decide to set up somewhere inland, but you encounter some rather unfriendly looking natives.

(Hint: it’s a spider and a creeper.)

RIP THEIR SHIT

You notice a second creeper and decide this is as good of a time as any to whip out your diamond sword.

Unfortunately, he explodes.

You were, however, successful in defeating the original spider and creeper you saw.

You quickly build a chest to store the looted items.

Build a house.

(I don’t play Minecraft, but I’ve heard a lot about it on the Internet and watched a friend play it on his phone a few times. The game seems pretty interesting.)

You have just enough wood to build this contraption:

Call upon Notch to grant you two cows to breed together.
And then you kill one of them and use the leather to make an item frame.
Oh I am so devious!

@Jake

That’s a beach.

I do believe that is a cliff.

There’s also a cave nearby.

(Sorry for the delay, I went on an excursion this weekend)

How many torches do you have? If there’s enough, then go spelunking.

Otherwise, find a cow and build an item frame.

You have plenty of torches, so you go into the cave.

The mouth splits into three separate paths: one leads to the ocean, the other two lead deeper into the cave.

You must pick one.
